24-26: 7th Edition
of the Martinique Modern Art
Trade Festival in le Marin
This street fair – open air style gallery is a great
opportunity to discover amazing creations from Martinicans and other Caribbean Artists.
All weekend long, visitors can meet and interact with
the artists, and perhaps bring a souvenir home!
Paintings, sculptures, photography and other mediums are
displayed, offering the visitor a Voyage into
the Caribbean's Creative World!

13th : 11th Edition
of the “Patte d’Or Festival” in Sainte Marie
Happy Easter and Bon Appetit!
On Easter Monday, Martinican families traditionally
savor the matoutou, a specialty made of crab
slowly cooked with rice, tomatoes, Colombo paste (creole
cousin of the curry) and other rich spices.
Every year, hundreds of people gather on Anse Azerot
Beach in Sainte-Marie to follow the “Concours de
Matoutou”. The winner of this culinary competition
will receive the Crabe d’Or Award (Golden
Crab Award).
