On January 7, 2005, Credit Suisse/First
Boston addressed the home based agency
channel in an equity research report
Home Bookin' A White Paper on the
Emergence of the Home-Based Agency Channel.
The
report discusses the impact of the home
based channel on the distribution of
vacations and cruises.
This report confirmed the growth of this
channel. It clearly indicates that this is
where the industry is heading. Not
surprisingly, they estimate the home based
market to be approximately 15,000-20,000
agents. Agent@Home magazine happens to
reach 15,900 home based travel professionals
while our shows in 2005 will reach more than
